To Test USOC 4/6/8 Modular Cable:

1. Connect one end of the cable to the master tester and the other

end to the remote terminator. (You can connect both ends to the

master unit if you’re not doing a remote test.)

2. Press the Power button to the On position. The Power LED will

 ashtoindicatethedeviceispoweredproperly.

3. Assoonasthetestcableisinserted,theLEDsontheremove

terminator will start to scan one by one.

4. If the test cable is okay, the corresponding pair of LEDs will light

green.

5. If the corresponding pair of LEDs light red, the cable has been

 wiredinreverse.

6. IftheLEDslightgreenrstandthenred(mixed)orremainunlit,

the cable is bad.

NOTE: Makesurea9-voltalkalinebatteryhasbeeninstalledinthe

battery compartment.

CauTiON:Don’tconnectthecabletestertolivecircuitsasitmaybe

damagedbyhighvoltage.
